In response to requests from a number of our customers, Net Neighbourhood is pleased
to offer a range of new support schemes to businesses and home users alike.
It is far easier to budget and plan for IT if the way ahead is made clear and the
timescales / costs can be spread over a whole year. In light of this Net Neighbourhood
has developed a range of support options designed to suit your needs. Whether you
are a small business with just 1 or 2 PCs and require just occasional support or
have an extensive network with constant support requirements, we have the solution
to suit you.
Each scheme offers a significant reduction in cost when compared to the standard
call-out rate of £30/hr. Any additional hours needed in any one month will then
be charged at that schemes special rate.
We are also pleased to announce the arrival of the ‘PC Plus Pack’. They say prevention
is the best cure and this is certainly true with PCs. The Plus Pack is about keeping
your machines in tip-top condition, a pro-active way to reduce the risk that they
will go dramatically wrong in the future. For a small monthly fee Net Neighbourhood
will service each PC covered by the ‘PC Plus Pack’ every month at a time suitable
for you. This will include all of the following:
install new Microsoft security patches and updates (including major service packs)
install / maintain anti-virus, anti-spyware software (including full scans for both)
Explore running services and processes
Check for malicious diallers
Check configuration of windows firewall
Check application, security and system event logs for errors
Defragmentation of hard drives
Hard drive error checking
Driver updates
Firmware updates
Clean start menu
Remove unnecessary programs slowing down performance
Other general housekeeping
The PC Plus Packs can be bought separately or in addition to the schemes.
